1. Purpose and Scope

This Medical & Wellbeing Disclaimer ("Disclaimer") applies to the website, digital content and services made available under the brand name AttunebyKripa, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Kripa Suresh Lund ("AttunebyKripa", "we", "our" or "us").

This Disclaimer applies to mindfulness practices, guided meditations, sound-supported practices, educational content, workshops, retreats, courses, recordings and other wellbeing-related Services offered or described by AttunebyKripa, whether delivered online, through a future mobile application or in person.

Please read this Disclaimer together with the AttunebyKripa Terms & Conditions and any specific instructions, participation information or additional disclaimer provided in connection with a particular Service.

2. Educational and General Wellbeing Purposes Only

All content and Services provided by AttunebyKripa are intended for educational, self-awareness and general wellbeing purposes only.

AttunebyKripa does not provide medical care, psychological treatment, psychiatric treatment, psychotherapy, counselling, diagnosis, rehabilitation or any other regulated healthcare service through the Website or its general wellbeing offerings.

Information, practices, reflections or guidance provided by AttunebyKripa should not be interpreted as personalised medical, psychological, psychiatric or other healthcare advice.

Nothing provided by AttunebyKripa is intended to replace consultation, diagnosis, treatment or advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

3. No Professional Healthcare Relationship

Your access to the Website, use of Digital Content or participation in an AttunebyKripa Service does not create a doctor-patient, psychologist-client, therapist-client, counsellor-client or other healthcare professional relationship between you and AttunebyKripa or Kripa Suresh Lund.

Any guidance provided during a mindfulness, meditation or sound-supported practice is offered within the scope of a general educational and wellbeing experience and is not a clinical assessment of your individual circumstances.

If you require medical, psychological, psychiatric or therapeutic support, you should seek assistance from an appropriately qualified professional.

4. Mindfulness and Meditation Practices

Mindfulness and meditation practices may involve directing attention toward the breath, body sensations, thoughts, emotions, sounds or other aspects of present-moment experience.

People can respond differently to these practices. A practice that feels supportive or comfortable for one person may feel difficult, uncomfortable or unsuitable for another.

You are encouraged to participate at your own pace and to exercise your own judgement throughout any practice.

Unless a particular activity requires otherwise, you may open your eyes, change your posture, pause or stop a practice at any time.

If a practice causes significant physical discomfort, emotional distress, disorientation or another adverse response, you should stop the practice and seek appropriate professional support where necessary.

AttunebyKripa does not guarantee that mindfulness or meditation will produce relaxation, calm, improved concentration, reduced stress or any other particular outcome.

5. Sound-Supported Practices

Certain AttunebyKripa sessions may incorporate sound as part of a mindfulness or meditation experience. Instruments may include Himalayan singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks, drums or other sound-producing instruments.

Sound-supported practices are offered for general wellbeing, mindfulness and experiential purposes. They are not medical treatment and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, disorder or health condition.

Individual responses to sound can vary. Some people may experience sound, vibration or particular frequencies as intense or uncomfortable.

If you have concerns about participating in a sound-supported practice because of a medical condition, hearing sensitivity, implanted or electronic medical device, pregnancy, neurological condition or any other health circumstance, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating.

You should inform the facilitator of any relevant concern where appropriate and stop or move away from the sound if you experience discomfort.

6. Physical Movement and Participation

Some AttunebyKripa workshops, retreats or practices may include gentle movement, changes in posture, sitting, standing, walking or other physical activity.

You are responsible for deciding whether a movement or posture is suitable for you and should not perform any activity that causes pain or feels unsafe.

Where appropriate, you may modify a movement, remain seated, change position or choose not to participate.

If you have an injury, physical limitation, balance concern, chronic condition, recent surgery, pregnancy or another circumstance that may affect your ability to participate safely, you should obtain appropriate professional advice before participating where necessary.

7. Mental and Emotional Wellbeing

Mindfulness and meditation can sometimes bring increased awareness to thoughts, emotions, memories or bodily sensations. For some individuals, this may occasionally feel challenging or distressing.

AttunebyKripa's general mindfulness and meditation offerings are not a substitute for mental-health assessment, psychotherapy, psychiatric care or crisis support.

If you are currently experiencing significant psychological distress, are receiving treatment for a mental-health condition, have a history of trauma that may affect your participation, or are uncertain whether a practice is appropriate for you, you should consider consulting your treating or appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating.

You are not required to disclose personal experiences during an AttunebyKripa workshop or practice unless you choose to do so.

If participation becomes emotionally overwhelming or destabilising, you should stop the practice and seek appropriate support.

8. Medical Conditions, Medication and Existing Treatment

Do not use AttunebyKripa content or Services as a reason to delay seeking medical care, disregard professional medical advice, discontinue treatment or change prescribed medication.

Any decision regarding medication, medical treatment, psychological treatment or another healthcare intervention should be made in consultation with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

If you have an existing medical or mental-health condition, AttunebyKripa does not represent that its practices are suitable for that condition merely because the Website or a session discusses stress, sleep, pain, difficult emotions, wellbeing or another related topic.

References to possible benefits of mindfulness, meditation or sound-supported practices are general in nature and do not constitute a representation that a particular practice is appropriate for your individual circumstances.

9. Emergency Situations

AttunebyKripa is not an emergency, crisis, medical or mental-health response service and does not monitor users or participants for emergencies.

If you believe that you or another person is experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, is at immediate risk of harm, or requires urgent professional assistance, you should contact the appropriate local emergency services or seek immediate assistance from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Do not rely on the Website, Digital Content, email, social media, workshops or other AttunebyKripa Services for emergency assessment, crisis intervention or urgent healthcare support.

10. Individual Responsibility and Participation

Participation in any AttunebyKripa mindfulness, meditation, sound-supported, movement or other wellbeing practice is voluntary.

You are responsible for assessing your own circumstances and deciding whether and to what extent you wish to participate.

You should follow any safety instructions provided in connection with a practice and use reasonable judgement regarding your physical and emotional comfort.

You may decline, modify, pause or stop a practice where appropriate. You should not continue an activity merely because it has been suggested by a facilitator if you feel unwell, unsafe, distressed or physically uncomfortable.

Where a Service is delivered in person, you are responsible for informing the facilitator of any relevant concern that you reasonably believe may affect safe participation, while recognising that AttunebyKripa does not undertake a medical assessment of participants.

11. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Experiences of mindfulness, meditation, sound-supported practices and other wellbeing activities vary between individuals and may also vary for the same individual from one occasion to another.

AttunebyKripa does not guarantee any particular physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual or wellbeing result from accessing the Website or participating in any Service.

References to calm, relaxation, awareness, focus, self-compassion, resilience, sleep, stress, difficult emotions, pain or other possible experiences or benefits describe general educational or wellbeing themes and do not constitute a promise or guarantee of outcome.

Testimonials, participant experiences or personal stories, where published, reflect individual experiences only and should not be understood as evidence that another person will experience the same result.

12. Workshops, Retreats and In-Person Sessions

Additional participation information, venue requirements or safety instructions may apply to workshops, retreats, private groups, corporate sessions or other in-person Services.

You are responsible for following reasonable venue and facilitator instructions and for advising the facilitator where you require a practical modification or wish not to participate in a particular activity.

AttunebyKripa may modify or omit a practice where the facilitator considers this appropriate for the group, venue, available time or general safety of the session.

Participation in an in-person Service does not mean that AttunebyKripa has assessed or approved the activity as medically suitable for your individual circumstances.

Where an event is hosted at a third-party venue or as part of a third-party retreat or programme, separate terms, waivers or safety requirements of the organiser or venue may also apply.

13. Online and Recorded Practices

When using guided practices online or through recorded Digital Content, you are responsible for choosing an appropriate environment in which to participate.

You should not use a meditation, mindfulness exercise, sound-supported recording or similar practice while driving, operating machinery or undertaking any activity that requires your full attention, unless the content is expressly designed and clearly identified for that activity.

Where a practice invites you to close your eyes, lie down, move, change posture or reduce external attention, you should do so only when it is safe in your surroundings.

Recorded content cannot be adapted in real time to your individual physical, emotional or environmental circumstances. You remain responsible for stopping or modifying the practice where appropriate.

14. Information, Research and Third-Party References

AttunebyKripa may from time to time refer to books, research, teachers, traditions, external resources or third-party information for educational purposes.

Such references do not constitute medical advice or an endorsement of every statement, service, product or practice offered by a third party.

Wellbeing and health-related research may develop over time. AttunebyKripa does not warrant that general educational information on the Website will reflect every subsequent development in scientific, medical or psychological research.

Where you require advice about the application of research or health information to your own circumstances, you should consult an appropriately qualified professional.

15. Limitation and Relationship with the Terms & Conditions

This Disclaimer is intended to explain the nature and limitations of AttunebyKripa's wellbeing content and Services and should be read together with the AttunebyKripa Terms & Conditions.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, your use of the Website and participation in the Services is subject to the disclaimers and limitations of liability set out in the Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in this Disclaimer or the Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or limited under applicable law.

16. Changes to this Disclaimer

AttunebyKripa may update this Disclaimer from time to time to reflect changes in its Services, practices, business operations or applicable legal requirements.

Where this Disclaimer is updated, the revised version will be published on the Website and the applicable 'Last Updated' date will be amended.

You are encouraged to review the current Disclaimer before participating in a Service, particularly where your circumstances or the nature of the Service have changed.
